BUTTER WILL NOT, SORRY, WILL MELT IN YOUR MOUTH!

Butter will not, sorry, will melt in your mouth!

It’s not very often that I make buttercream icing, personally Iets say I am more partial towards fresh cream and there is only one reason for it, the aftertaste. Everytime one has a buttercream icing, it does not actually melt in your mouth the way butter is supposed to melt. So, last week when a friend called up to order a buttercream cake for her daughter’s friend, i was wondering whether I should consider the look or the taste when making the buttercream. Actually, what if you can have your cake and eat it too! Surely there is some recipe where the quality is not compromised and it also gives you the look.

After a week’s research, I was almost going to give up since every buttercream recipe which I came upon asked to add margarine to it (the proportions always varied) and some instead of saying margarine called it by a brand’s name. Upon looking up the brand I found it that it was the very same margarine that I had been avoiding for so long!!!!!!!!!

In a last ditch effort, I tried to do yet another search to try my luck one last time and I guess God had some mercy on me, considering the amount of time I had spent looking for it. I had found it, a creamy, smooth as silk icing which was completely natural without any of the artificial stabilizers. I had indeed found the best buttercream icing I had tasted ever. Yes…the butter did melt in my mouth!!
